It's finally raining here

God is so good.  We really needed some rain and we are finally getting a little bit of it.  I love a good thunderstorm!  I always have loved storms.  No, I am not about to run off with the storm chasers, but before kids, I would have loved to do that.  So, I will just watch, in eager excitement, as we finally get a few thunderstorms.  So the twins are just hanging 10, watching TV and I am playing on my computer.  I should be working on curriculum, but don't feel like it.  LOL!

I am very proud of my kids.  This summer they are attending 21st Century AfterSchool Program Summer School.  The school is not "Summer School" like we remember, this program is set up to serve as enrichment.  Kids love it!  Our coordinators are doing a fabulous job. 

Ian was reading Wacky Wednesday by Dr. Seuss and then decided to play on the computer.  He earned a lollipop from his teacher today and he was super excited about that.  Montana played BINGO today and loved it.

I love to scrap the memories of our family.  I intend to get back into it shortly.  I love creating memories!  I don't intend to return to designing or serving on a creative team as my focus right now is on becoming the best teacher that I can possibly be.  Here's a layout that I did many moons ago.  But I love it and want to share it. 

Welcome to My Blog

I have been inspired by my dear friend, Yolanda Green to start a blog.  For me, I have titled my blog as "My life - It is...what it is!"   This title fits me perfectly, because I have learned that life is what it is.  You can change the things you can control and you can't change what is beyond your control.  I am choosing to work on what I can and not worry so much about what I can't fix or make better.
